Hi all I have a problem playing games on my PC and it would just close the game or freeze the PC,
I have a GTX970 and wondering what card I can fit in the ASRock H81 Pro BTC motherboard,
would the 10's 16's and 20's work?

Thanks in advance

Hello, motherboard compatibility shouldn't be an issue, pcie is backwards and forwards compatible. So long as it fits your case, budget and power supply it should work. A bigger question is which cpu you have. Even older i5s will struggle to keep up with the highest end stuff.

2060 super looks good and probably be the one I would go for,

would this be the best option for my budget?

You mad? Spend 410 on a 2060S when 5700XT exists?

This one

Or if you cannot wait search for this one XFX Radeon RX 5700 XT 8GB THICC. It goes for £410 in UK also.

The red team = AMD... Always been a Nvidia fan, but if Radeon RX 5700 XT is better then the 2060 supers for games and VR then I'll probably consider it, seems to be a trade up deal with Asus at the moment so might be worth doing that to get some money back for my grade B £250 970

For a start id diagnose why games freeze etc as thats not a gpu upgrade needed first of. As those issues wont be fixed witgh a gpu upgrade.

Whats ur psu first of all.

PSU is a CX750m... I had this problem with my previous build, My motherboard died ( https://www.overclockers.co.uk/giga...1150-ddr3-mini-itx-motherboard-mb-496-gi.html ) So I had to downgrade to a ASRock H81 Pro BTC, also changed PSU to CX750m as I couldn't find my leads, One thing I could try is on board graphic card or a different GPU, I'll be taking the PC to my local shop as they checked everything for health and bench marked it..But since getting it back I havn't been able to play games. so hopefully they will investigate it for free...If its not GPU it can only be CPU,
I don't get no BSOD it just freezes and I have to reboot system or game will close,
