Just installed new graphics card Gigabyte 1070, and CPU-Z says core clock 139MHz and MEM 405 MHz? What is going on?

Are you running any benchmarks or anything to tax the GPU when you're looking at GPU-Z?

yea it's normal for it to downclock when not in use.

Its downclocked and in 2D mode, run GPU-Z and run the stress test that's built in.
Wrong forum as this is VR.
