New Graphics Card advice for old system

Hi all,

I've a 7 year old or so system, a 2.13 dual core Intel, on a P5LD2 LGA775 motherboard, & my longest going online game (Eve) now requires me to have a DX11 supporting graphics card. It's not graphically intense, requires a minimum of DX11 support.

My card atm is an 8600GT.

My motherboard only supports PCI, not this PCI2 standard, though I understand PCI2 cards will work in PCI slots, just not as well.

Can anyone recommend a fairly cheap card that will do the trick?

I've considered spending up to 120 quid for a GTX460, or a bit less for a GTS450 but think that both would be overkill, plus really badly hampered by my CPU & motherboard, & are also lot more than I'd like to splash on a card at the moment.

What cheaper option, for my support, is the best, most cost effective improvement on an 8600GT & gives DX11 support?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks - that one's nearly 90 pounds though, so leaves me wondering if I'd be better off spending another 30 to get a GTX460. I hope to eventually upgrade case, cpu & m/board (can't afford it atm). am thinking a 460 would compliment a new system rather well.

Any recommendations for something half the price?
