New Graphics Card Advice Please

Im toying with the idea of either buying a pair of high-end NVidia GTX 680's or a single GTX 690 any advice on this please?

690. because its sweet. uses less power and makes less heat than the 680s. and performs so close i doubt any gameplay would be affected in any noticible way

GTX 690s don't suffer from micro stutter either which is a nice bonus.
