new graphics Card for htpc

Since replacing with 32inch lcd tv with 42inch led full HD TV I'm getting constant ripping whilst watching HD movies. It looks like my cheap fanless card is not up to the job. The htpc is a full size case so the size of a new card is not an issue. Can someone recommend a silent (ish) replacement card.

R9 250X/GTX730 or around that price frame will do for HD play back

It's as silent as it gets.

It does not matter whether the card is fanless or not. Manufacturers choose to use fanless solutions on graphics cards which emit low heat and require little power. What graphics cards are you using right now ? Have you checked temperatures while watching HD video ?
