Hi guys this is my first post so thought I would say hello first.

I'm needing a little help,
been out of the pc world for a few years and i am looking for a graphics card for my new rig , I want to play a lot of driving games with my chair and g27 wheel, but am not sure which card would be the best ati or nvidia, I would like to be able to run 3 monitors like the set up in scan if anyone has seen it? But I am unsure if one card would be enough, also heard of 2 cards but read somewhere they have problems with stuttering, my budget is around 150 - 280

My rig consists of

I7 2600k running 4.7ghz
Cosair 8gb ram
Asus p8z68 v pro/gen3
Ek water cooling setup with triple rad. 1 double and 1 single
Crucial 60gb m4 ssd
320gb spare hd
Ocz 650 psu

Thanks in advance guys
Steve

thanks i would like to use it at 1920 X 1080 max, I have not bought the monitors as yet

It's really just for racing games, but there is so much to choose from.

Are there any cards that will do 3 monitor setups or do I have to go sli?

After some more searching I have found the ati 9650 2gb for around £200 would this be ok for a 3 monitor setup and good enough graphics for racing games etc

should be, but you might want to check some benchmarks as you're pushing a lot of pixels with 3 screens. You'd probably want 2 6950

Thanks for the replys, It's all really about cost, someone also told me to get 2 560ti nvidia over 2 6950,s The reason am looking at the 6950 is the 3 monitor setup, am just really unsure what is going to be the best for my budget.

If youre going for a single card then the 6950 will do 3 monitors on its own, where as the 560Ti would need a 2nd card for the third output, as such this would be double your budget
Though if you havent already got the 3 monitors I'd suggest you re-allocate some money from monitors to gfx

ok so you would suggest 2 x 560ti in sli and would that be pretty good for graphics and a lot better than the 6950 ?

not decided on monitors will open a new thread on advice for them lol

thanks again for the help
