Hey guys,

So i was thinking of buying this for my ever-aging AGP system, along with 2GB of memory...

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-137-SP&tool=3

question is, would my Antec NeoPower 480W PSU be up to the task?, does anyone know? I heard these cards are pretty power hungry or something,

Im currently running 1 optical drive, a opteron 165 and 5 hard drives (:|) on the thing, along with my 6800NU..

also which memory should I go for? my memory has been faulty for a while now and I really want to overclock the crap out of this Opteron... Can someone recommend me some fairly decent 2GB kit?:P

Thanks a lot for replies in advance

Petros

edit: one more thing, is this the best card for AGP? I keep reading that it is, is there no direct X 10 cards on AGP which are performing better? (I saw some 2600XT's or something but they had worse benchmarks than the 1950pro in a few games) what would you recommend?

the x1950 is currently the best AGP card out, however the 3850 is apparantly being released as an AGP card sometime in the future. the 2600 is not a gaming card but it can handle some light gaming.

ah thanks I guess I'l be going with a 1950pro if its soon then, unless someone knows an ETA on the 3850

i take it that 2600 is a HD card pretty much only...

hmm, well i think il be ok considering the W, and the build of the antec psu, it was more the "requires xxA on the rails" part.. thanks for that lil site :)

any other input to other things ? :)
