I currently have a X1900, and have multiple problems in games. This could be drivers, install or the card itself. Frankly, I don't give a poop. It's time to upgrade and reinstall, and I'm long out of the game.

Card must be able to cope with gaming @ 1920x1200m and I run two monitors.

So, what do you suggest? I have no budget or preference to anything, as long as it fits with my existing setup. I've been gaming on low quality at 1024x768 for a while, so don't really care about quality, but it must be value for money.

I have 4gb geil, a [email protected] on a ASUS P5W DH Deluxe.

Thanks guys

EDIT - This is the problem I've been having, as you can imagine it makes gaming hard.

Im pretty much in the same boat mate, my 1950pro seems to be giving up the ghost, bf2 and css starting toa rtifact here and there or just crahs out of game. done me well though

If money is no issue, and you have a 4 gig + a nice 3 ghz quad i'd say get a gtx 280 or X2, the 4870 X2 seem to have very little drop off in performance going from 1680 1050 to 1920 1200 at least from all the benchmarks i have seen, so looks to be an ideal high res gaming card, but it is the more expensive of the two, a gtx 280 will be a solid performer across the board

Money is no object as long as it represents value for money, and other parts of my system won't be a bottleneck :)

So is your suggestion still valid?

aether 4870 1 gig or 260 maxcore less issues as they are not duel cards and it will improve your performance by good amount

well the brand does not matter tbh it is all the same cards just might include different extras and different warrantys.

u dont need to find extra 6 pin connector as there is two of them with a graphics card
