New Graphics card / TV Tuner

I bought a TV tuner about 2 years ago now, cost about £50, Cyberlink, cant remember other details, but it was useless, poor signal, and worst of all, when I hooked my PS2 up to it it had a second or so delay from when you pressed a button to what happened on screen.

Now, ive got a Sapphire radeon 9800, its ok for most things I do, and I don't really play many games any more.

Basically, I would like some advise on a good TV Tuner card, preferably with a remote that can shut down the computer (so I don't have to get out of bed when watching a film / tv) and with the ability to hook up my PS2.

Would it be worth getting a new gfx card with tv tuner inbuilt?

Any advise would be appreciated,

Mike

I got the other week for a media pc i made a asus 7131 Hybrid tv card. From my local pc shop. The remote looks crap , and the remote lags real bad.So i will watch this theard as i am in the market for anyother. It seems to be cpu lag so some forums i have looked at say but its a 3700 amd 2gig of ram and xp on it.
And as soon as you use the tv button the lag starts. Not like i dont have a okish card in it (850 PE).Wish i would have done what you have and started a thread might have saved me £35

(I know no help but at least you know of one not to buy)

i have an avermedia hybrid pci tv card in mine atm, sound occasionally loses sync on terrestrial but the av intput is fine, reception is as good as your aerial will allow and it can decode HD...apparently lol
