So I am thinking about upgrading my GPU for new games coming out, Battlefield 4, The Witcher 3, etc, would love to play them all on ultra, this is my current set up

I also have a CPU cooler not included on that list, the processor is overclocked to 4.3ghz, and I have also overclocked the GPU, at the moment it plays most games fine on ultra, and BF4 beta on a mix of ultra/high but with odd bit of lag occasionaly. want to upgrade to a 3gb card, with a budget of about £200, would this work well http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-065-HS&tool=3

?

thanks

Yes that card is epic for the price plus 5 games and free shipping.

It is a decent upgrade. I would add though that the bf4 beta is not optimised well and the final release will be so it will be less demanding on your current setup so you could always hold up on the upgrade till the game comes out.

Seeing as your budget is £200, 2 7950's would set you back a bit more, i'd suggest you get your self another 7850 and crossfire them, you have a psu to run it so shouldn't have any problems there, should perform better than the single 7950 and still well under your budget xD

you reckon? Its just I have some mates who use crossfire and seem to have more problems than its worth with games not well optimized for crossfire, and they would prefer a single card? what single card would be best to match 2 7850s in crossfire, if say the budget was a bit higher?

This is only one game but you get the idea of the sort of performance from a 7850 xfire setup on bf3. http://i1.ytimg.com/vi/7BeKb9M5zV0/maxresdefault.jpg

So i guess if you could get a bit for your 7850, perhaps get a 7970 asus platinum seen as though they are down to £260. Seems a good choice if you want a single card.

The asus platinum is probably the best card you could pick up for overclocking.

Here's a link to the spec's on asus's website:

and the link to the ocuk page...

Benchmark 1
Benchmark 2

So to conclude... I really would recommend getting the Asus card if you can part with the extra money ;) , considering not so long ago it was sub £400
