New Graphics Card

well i have a 6800 xt, and that plays call of duty 4 with no problem whatsoever
i play it on default settings, so a better card woudl no doubt increas the graphic quality, but it plays it perfectly well
not trying the new one every body ios talking about (crysis is it?) so cant comment on that (YET)
so, dependant on your available cash, perhaps a second hand 7800 might fit well

lol davidB I hadnt even noticed, then I just sat here for 5 minutes not wanting to post and lose it hahah
axis hope you dont mind me saking, but why does it have to be ati., I personaly have always found ati to be.... flakey to be polite especially with newer games (possibbly just bad luck for me)
last lan i went to we played graw2 and the latest rainbow 6. and the only person that had problems with either (in fact both) was the ati user, in the end he took it out and borrown a 7300 that the host had on a shelf, and voila (SP) it worked.
It was one of the decent ATi cards aswell, so not even a "card is too old for games" issue

iv noticed a few more x1950's have popped up on the site i wanna know, is the 512 mb x1950 still the best out of these to go for??? also im fustrated that i didnt buy it earlier 
now they have risen the price of this card from £82 to £86!!!! i was hopin to wait for the price to drop not rise!
