My friend's 8800gts died recently, I was just wondering what graphics card you guys would recommend for £150 - £200.

His power supply is BeQuiet 530W and he doesn't mind if its ATI or Nvidia.

Thanks.

i would suggest a GTX480

its £206, and comes with far cry 2.

however, its quite a power hungry card, so im not sure if his power supply would be up to the job

whats the rest of his build, and how old is the power supply

Power supply was got last month and the rest of his system is;

4GB DDR2

Closer to £200:

Slightly over budget but given they can flash to 6970 they are awesome bang for buck really.

Was looking at the HD 5850 before I posted this, seems a good card for the price. Much better than his old 8800gts anyway.

If he overclocks that Q6600 to 3.2+ it shouldn't really bottle neck either of those cards I posted and will cope with games well
