new graphics card

Hey guys im hoping htis is the right place to post this question since it is graphics card related, here goes.


My son is a avid world of warcraft player(ye ayea i know), anyhow we bought him this all in one barbones systems from here.


"Primo 500i" Intel G41 DDR3 Ready Barebones (Socket 775)

He is using a intel q6600 quad core with 8gb of ddr3.

His graphics card is currently a geforce 79xxx series with 256mb ram.

He needs to upgrade this to a newer one, now looking at the case there are going to be restrictions in size, can anyone recomend a semi good card for around £150 please ?

When I played warcraft I was using a 1gb GTX460 which is on offer this week I believe for £96.

If you want other choices or opinions we need to know what sort of resolution he's playing at and what sort of settings and frame rate he's hoping for.

The main point is hes using a midi sized case, are not all the new cards bigger in size?

his gaming resoloution is 1920x1080

And settings you cannnot even answer that than the obvious, he wants max settings as possible, and more fps the better.
