New Graphics Card

Hi Folks.

I bought my rig from OC just over two years ago and thought it was time to breath some new life into the system with a new card.
The main driver behind this is that I want to upgrade my 8 year old 19" TFT to a shinny new 24" widescreen IPS.

Since I'll be running at 1900x1024 I thought I would need a little more graphics grunt in place of my overclocked HIS HD5850. I'm playing GW2 at the moment with a smattering of BF3 every now and again in addition to photo editing.

I was looking at the MSI HD 7850 OC which seems like a great value card @£120.00 but then I saw the deal for the MSI HD7950 @£239 which includes the £99 voucher for the 3 full games....tempting.

Do you think my CPU might throttle the HD7950 and would I be better off with the 7850?

The 7950 might be a little OTT for your current needs but nice to have a little room for improvement AND the free games....

Would swing it for me

thought about two x 7850's ?

I did briefly think about it, but was concerned my PSU may not have enough oomph for both... thought I would keep things simple with a single card and flog the old one on eBay.

Thanks... I plan on getting Far Cry so this is probably the better bet.
