New Graphics card

I have an older PC I use for testing Win10 and other things. It is---
Medion PC-MS-7366, Intel Core 2 quad Q8300 @2.50GHz 4GB RAM with an NVIDIA G210 GC..

Looks like it's on it's way out, or Win10 just don't like it. Either BSODs before Desktop so never gets there. Or gets to Desktop and could shut down in 3 minutes or 20 minutes or work 100%. Also might not start up until I press the restart button on tower about 5 times.

What would the upgrade Graphics card be that I should buy. GT720 or lower or higher.

What psu? That could be the cause, I guess. Temps ok? Need a clean?

In terms of a video card, something like a second hand R7 240 should match the cpu nicely. I probably wouldn't put a too much more powerful gpu in there.

Does it have integrated graphics? If so you could test it without the graphics card to see if that's what was causing the problem, or replace the PSU.

Thanks ---- No integrated card in this one... I not cleaned yet, so will do that at weekend then restart pc. Temps are OK. Though will recheck again if I can get to Desktop..

So which card is next step up from the G210 that is NVIDIA..Thanks.

Just find it strange you have BSOD etc but never mind that I will buy a new GPU.
DOESNT MATTER what gpu you buy you will still get crashes. Sort that out first.

Never replace any hardware unless you know what the root cause is of any existing issue.

First rule of Fight Club.

Then dont forget to include what type of case you have. No point advising a full size card if you only have a SFF. Advise a budget.

This. I wouldn't even be thinking about upgrading anything in that situation, unless it's the PSU.

OK--NOT psu--Not GC--Found that the Temp of the MCP was @ 56/57..Cleaned out the dust and found the temp to be 52c for most of day.Now 53c at 0:100am. Not bad that... Also a lose connection on rear of tower.
I got Two Spare PSUs at 500w so no probs for one of those if needed..

If needed I can buy a Low Profile GC of either GT620/630 or even a GT610 and put in one of my 500w PSUs..Not needed now. THANKS..
