Too early for PPD, but this is on the X2 [email protected].
I could live with 154 ppd.
have got one of these on my 3700 @ 2.55gig, says 2 days 21hr to completion and its only at 6% done.
i've also got a 2124 unit worth 396 points on my pentium4 1600 that i recently bought which says its going to be ready in 6 days time @ 2% complete.

think yourselves lucky guys, they are being estimated at > 5 days on my P4 2.8

I've no idea what it is, it's an dell branded P4 server at 2.8 Ghz. I don't know what memory is in it but I do know it's a HT chip (two clients). It's quite an old server so I'd suspect it was a low FSB speed relative to the latest cores from intel

It's in a rack in the server room so it'd be kind of tricky to open it up for more details

Gah, having put cpuid on it I've found the issue, the issue is....
the 4 unmatched random sticks of memory at rated speeds ranging form PC3200 down to PC2700
POS OEM computers....
hmmm I think I have a couple of gig of 3200 at home, whould I treat the WORK server with a free upgrade?

meh if I leave the company I'd need a pay rise big enough to right off 2gig of RAM and as for EoL
we don't do EoL here, I have a cyrix 233 system that IS STILL USED
and we had to try and fix one just like it the other day.HT
