Interesting article. Nvidia are due to launch a new GTX 1060 exclusively for the Chinese cyber cafe market. This is due to the huge popularity of games like PUBG.

The new card is designed to be as powerful as possible whilst dispensing with the need for an external power cable so that maintenance and replacement can be done easily.

I'm surprised this is a Chinese exclusive though. Surely this would make an excellent card for a ready to go boxed system. Would OCUK not want a card like that for their off the shelf machines?

LOL! That’s the most incorrect thing I’ve read all week. Best bang for buck new GPU out there at this moment. 1050ti 4GB is not much cheaper, but it is way slower. 1060 6GB is way more money but not that much faster. And before you say 3GB isn’t enough, well that’s not true. It creams a 1050ti, and is 5-10% behind a 1060 6GB but 25% cheaper.

1060 entire line up doesn't fit, 1050ti is fine, having three 1060 models is just stupid. 1060 6gb is fine however it's over priced, nvidia entire middle segment for gpu is priced wrong and out of sync, adding yet another 1060 makes zero sense

Oh so you’re only talking about the naming structure? That I agree with. 1060 3 and 6 are that different that they should be called something different like 1060 and 1060ti.

Yes, Though i also feel 4GB now should be min for all GPU, but thats a different story all together
