Hey Guys,
So my GTX570 died on me about 3 weeks ago and i replaced it with a New EVGA GTX970 SC
Thing is ever since i and installed this Card i have a strange intermittent issue, just looking for some advice please.
So I would say at least once a day i get this issue where i launch a game, my screen gos black like it's about to load but then i get chucked back to my desktop, like as if the game auto Alt-Tab's me as soon as the game launches. I can hear the game running in the background and it is still running according to Task Manager, i can also see the icon on my task bar.
but if i click on the game icon or try to Alt-Tab back into it i get auto sent back to my desktop again.
If i end the process and try to restart it does the same thing. The only way to fix it is to do a complete PC restart.
I have only had this issues since installing this new GPU but as i said it runs games great and i only get this annoying issue about once a day. It happens with all current games i am playing, TitanFall, Elite Dangerous, Splinter Cell Blacklist. Farcry 4
I really have no idea what this could be, i have tried a fresh driver install using Driver Sweeper but it still happens. I have also done a complete new Windows install.
Just looking for advice please, does this sound like a driver issue? or prehaps something else?
Other than that im really happy with this Card. (Apart from a little Coil Whine now and again on menu screens
)
