with regards to hair straightners, try and get some profesional ones, if you know any hairdressers they could use their "Sally" card and get a discount for you.

(miss's = hairdresser) apparently high street retail ones don't get hot enough and thats as far as I listened to her go on about hair straightners.... (*yawn*)

I think you should grow it a little longer and go with the 'out of bed' look. I don't see 'spikes' suiting you.
