All I am after a little advice, I have fitted a new hard drive in a laptop as the previous one was knackered, I am trying to install windows on it from a USB, when booting up I enter the bios and make USB the first bootable and save and exit.
However it keeps coming up with boot menu to select boot device and when I select the USB it comes up with a message at the bottom of the bios saying (USB KDI-MSFT Windows 10) is failed.
I have a genuine copy of the windows 10 which I bought on the a USB and I have also tried downloading and creating my own bootable USB from Microsoft website but both give the same message.
Any ideas or assistance is appreciated
