New Hard Drive > No Sound Device ?

Hi Guys, i just bought myself a new hard drive as i shorted my old one out and also purchased a new copy of Windows XP to install on it, all other hardware is exactly the same but whenever i try to play any audio it says that i have a problem with my sound device or that there is not one installed..

The sound device that worked fine with my old case was on the mobo its self but im struggling to see why its no longer working, do i need to install any codecs or devices, any help would be appreciated.

You'll need to install the drivers yeah, they will be on the motherboard disk or grab your model with CPU-Z (www.cpuid.com) and head to the manufacturers website.
