Hey, trying to get to the bottom of which monitor i want and also which components i need to upgrade my current system but whatever i decide i want to purchase them in the right order due to funds
Current monitor = syncmaster 172s 17"
Monitor i think i have decided on = Imagequest N91w
Current pc spec =
P Supply : ******** - 550watt powersupply
MBoard : Asus - a7n8x-e deluxe motherboard
Processor : AMD - athlon xp 3200+
GPU : ExpertVision - Nvidia Geforce 6600gt 256mb
Ram : No Brand - 1gb pc3200 ram (2x512)
HD : 2x Maxtor - 120gb 7200rpm ide/pata hard drives
Pc spec i want =
asus core2 motherrboard
e6300 c2d
2gb decent ram
7600gt
sata 2 Hd
I will be spending around £500 on the new components (excluding screen)
My question to you is this....
Do i upgrqade my monitor now, using the 17" as a second monitor, OR do i put off the monitor and purchase the new system first ?
so will the monitor increase my experience more or will the new power (abeit on a 17" screen) provide a better experience ?
The reason i ask is that due to funds, the purchases will be around 2-3 monts apart and i want to do it what you think is the right way round.
Cheers guys
