new hdd and vista help plz

hi there

ive just fitted a new seagate barracuda hdd to my pc and tried to install windows vista but for some reason the installation was halted due to a missing file, ive restarted comp to try and reinstall vista but im only coming up with bootmngr missing hit alt/crtl/del to restart and no matter what i do in the bios i cannot boot from the vista cd.

help plz

Have a look in the BIOS to see what is the first boot device is.

ive tried every poss combonation and still comes up the same.

what order should it be?
