I just got a WD 1TB Black Caviar HDD which I can see in the first BIOS screen but I can't see it in Vista.What should I do?
New HDD,detected in BIOS but not in Vista?

you'll probably have to initialise it.
control panel >> administrative tools >> computer management >> storage >> disk management.
it'll appear in that list as unalloctated space (or something like that). just right cick > format and give it a drive letter

if it's a new disk, a quick format will suffice
