Hello, a few months back i bought a new PC and not long after one the HDD got "the click of death". It was still in warranty so i sent back the HDD and took photos of the cables locations that plug into the HDD. Yesterday the new HDD arrived so i plugged it in with all the same cables and turned on the computer. But nothing appears when i go onto "my computer". Is there something else i need to do?

Pop into disk management and format the drive, this will also assign a drive letter.
