New HDMI MoBo

Guys,

I've been IMO, incredibly fortunate to have owned (still do) one of the best HTPC motherboards of recent years, the Asus P5Q-EM.

Sadly, I am conscious that it is starting to age (max 8Gb) and I do a lot of transcoding on the fly and encoding for iPad, etc.

If I were to go looking for a more modern equivalent of this board, what would you recommend and why?

It obviously depends on what CPU you'll be using/buying...

It'll be tough to get a better 775 motherboard with the features you need.

What case is this going to live in?

Oh wow, cool. Thing is DDR2 800 is still a dog (I could never get the 1066 to work), so if an upgrade to something like an i5 / i7 board was available, I'd take it.
