Hello all,

I'm tired of my crappy stereo and standard speakers in my clio. I thought that the Pioneer DEH-P6000UB looked pretty good.

So i thought at the same time i'd get a couple of new door speakers. However i have no idea what the standard size is in my 1.4 v reg clio, i've tried googling to no avail. Does anyone have an idea, or know somewhere i could find out myself?

Also, i have read that the Pioneer can be picky with the usb hard drives that it will work with, is this true and can anyone recommend some that do work?

Thanks chaps.

5.25" all round speaker wise. Pioneer make some direct fit replacments that are a nice easy replacement/upgrade, they just plug into the standard loom plugs.

I would have said Pioneers as well - if you're getting the Pioneer head unit (good choice by the way - I've just ordered the P7000UB!) then having the speakers the same make (even though they can't be seen behind the grilles) should produce a good sound.

A lot of people on here have recommended just changing the head unit first though, as even standard speakers 'come alive' with a decent source behind them. I would hold off getting speakers until you've installed your head unit - you may find that that's all you need!
