Basically, I'm in need of a new headset for Ventrilo, TS etc.

Willing to spend up to £30 really, need to be comfortable and block out sound from the outside (prefer cans to the smaller type) and needs a microphone which is good at blocking out sound from my speakers (I use my speakers for game audio, headset for chat).

Still want them to be decent audio quality as when it gets late at night, I usually switch my sound from my speakers to headset.

Cheers for any input.

I realise the cheapest will do, but they just arent comfortable and usually have pretty rubbish build quality.

ohh so youve tried them.. ok nm..

i can recommend my ones, Icemat Audio, good quality very comfortable due to it being huge.. lasting a very long time.. only drawback is not insane bass, but the quality is excellent. the mic is also detachable, and clips on to the cable or your shirt, that may be a problem to you if you like it near your mouth.

you can get them in black too.

You could try the SteelSeries 4h, very comfy headphones. I have the 5hv2's and sometimes even forget i'm wearing them, they really are that comfy. they sound really good too.
