New Headset help

hi all,

I need some help deciding on a headset.
I'm not sure about wether to go USB or 3.5mm jack
My mobo is an Asus P8P67 Deluxe
I need it to be able to pick up enemy footsteps clearly and from direction.

I'm currently thinking about the Corsair Gaming Audio Series HS1 USB Gaming Headset, has had good reviews in most places.

I used to have a Creative Fatality USB headset which was ok, but now broke.

I don't want to go above £80 really.

Any advice appreciated...

Depends if you're prepared to look at getting a sound card as well, or if you just want a headset?

If you're sticking with onboard, don't use it and get a USB headset like the HS1 or the G35.

If you are going with a sound card, you get a lot more choice!

I've just this second decided on the Logitech G35's.
Grab my order guys and throw in loads of free stuff

Wasnt that a bit above your budget

, may of been better off with a razer carcharias but im sure the g35 will be just as good.
