New Headset needed (Open Ear Cups)

Looking for a new headset,

After trying out a couple of headsets (Corsair HS1A + Razer Carcharias + Sennheiser HD595)

But I don't like closed ear cups on headphones as I like hearing whats going on around me ;D

So has anyone any suggestions on a good set of Open Ear headphones for music/gaming.

Any help appreciated!

What was wrong with the HD595s? They are open backed.

They put waaay too much pressure behind my ears and made me feel quite sick, only headphones that have managed to give me headaches and make me feel sick

Like the look of both, have you had an experience with either?

Wondering which has the better posistional sounds as primary use would be gaming and then music.

I can't comment on the 360's as I have never used them, but if you do a search on el goog for "Mad lust envy" there is a thread on head-fi all about headphones for positional use in gaming. He rates the 360 and the DT990 highly.

I personally bought the DT990 as if I wanted to use them other than at my computer, I didn't want to look like a *** with a microphone attached

. I am glad I bought them though as it has improved my kills per game by about +10 and has saved me from dying countless times. They are very accurate, especially when used with Dolby Headphone, its more than 360 surround, you can tell up above and below its awesome.

I can't say I ever found the HD5xx range uncomfortable, but the PC360 will have similar comfort/fit.

Beyerdynamics are amongst the most comfortable headphones going.
