New headset recommendations?

Hey guys

Well my creative fatality headset gave up and the right side snapped off. Had it about five years so pretty good going. Really like it nice and comfy but maybe the covers are a little small as thu sat on my ear and not over.

Any reccomendations for a new headset?

I've just ordered the Roccat Kave 5.1, certainly worth a look.

Nothing but good reviews here, Roccat Kaves are awesome, my mate has a set and I tried them, and all I can say, is that its almost cheating in FPS games cos you can hear people creeping up on you.

Do you need a soundcard to get the best out of the Kave's or will onboard sound be ok?

For a cheaper option got nothing but good things to say about the £25 Plantronics 377. Big, comfy and the fold away mic is great.
