New Headset.

I'm looking for a new headset, Pref surround sound ones.

It will be connected to a X-Fi Fatality with 5.1 surround sound speakers setup.

Currently i'm looking at the Speed-Link 5.1 ones with the amp.

As i can have my 5.1 connected to this amp and the headset connected in the front.

I have just noticed that OCUK can removed this from there site over night :(


What over things do people recommend?

Must have a boom with the mic on it. I can't stand desk or clip on mics.

How long is a piece of string? I wouldn't buy the headset you're considering as my main use for headphones is for music and secondlarily for PC gaming, but it could be fine for you. If you use you headset mainly for the bangs, rumbles and shrieks in PC games the Medusa's look like a good proposition. However, if you want high quality audio you might have a browse on the headfi.org forums. First though, you need to be clear in your own mind about your priorities and your intended budget.
 
Gaming mainly.

Music i don't really know the diffance from cheap speakers to 1000 quid ones.

Budget - i'm not to fussed really tbh - anyhting that does the job.
