Hi Guys

I am looking for a new heatsink/fan.

Currently have an artic freezer 7 pro which ive just broke the pins to (doh) its done me proud but im looking for something a little better.

No real budget, most expensive are around £40?

This is to go on a e6600/ socket 775 motherboard.

Your advice is appreciated

Thanks

Matt

I use a Tuniq on my E6600. Its o/c to 3.4ghz. Admittedly, the stock fan is loud when on maximum revs, but since it comes with a speed control, it means you can adjust it to suit. The only version OcUK have is the one with the Blue LED fan. :/. Its easy enough to change the fan. Its up there with the TRUE that Tute recommends.

I have an Akasa Evo 120 on my 6320 with a Yate Loon strapped to it.

Excellent temps and extremely quiet.

However, I would go by Tutes advice with the Thermalright range. They are wicked coolers with the option of strapping any fan to it of your choice.

Oops, just to let the OP know . . . . The TRUE and the tuniq both require the removal of the motherboard to fit the coolers as they use a backplate bolted through the 4 holes. These are mahoosive coolers too. But excellent :D

Hi Guys

I will be getting a new case so the fact it has a backplate isnt worrying me to much.

I think i will go with the tunic as the thermaltake is OOS and requires a fan also?

Do you recon it will fit inside the antec P182??

Thanks
