So long story short the fan on my Arctic Cooling Freezer rev 2 just clonked out after 2 years of keeping my 3770k really cool.

Not looking to spend more than £40 as i'm bit buggered for cash this month would have liked a h100 or something, and it must be able to clear my corsair vengeance blue ram (they're in slots 2 and 4 if that helps)

Now i've got to go back to stock clocks on the intel cooler :'(

cheers.

Unless i've put the stock on wrong but this is torture as its struggling at this clock speed, Please someone save me :(

If you google "Raijintek EreBoss corsair vengeance", you'll find an image that shows the Corsair ram just pressing against the bottom of the rubber fan mounts.

So they should fit. Just.

I've been looking at reviews of it earlier, looks good and getting good ratings aswell as the option to add another fan.

So i'll probably order this and hopefully get it tomorrow, 2.4ghz on a 3770k idling 55-60c is killer.

Also is it worth picking up another fan for the otherside? and I'm assuming this comes with no thermal paste, I have some Arctic Silver 5 paste but its 2 years old never opened, will it be safe to use that?

From Stulid's review, it seems to keep up very well against the H100i on maximum mode, Think i'll go with the cheaper underdog and pick up another fan to go on the otherside.

Might attempt to push my 3770k to 5Ghz now, achieved 4.9 on my Arctic Cooling 7 cooler before it got quite toasty :D

I'll decide when I get home, aesthetically and performance-wise the H100 makes sense.

Plus ill have my 200mm fans on the top of the case assisting with cooling the Rad.

Push pull and have the 200mm fans going :D

i'd have to wait if I wanted to purchase more fans, i'm really skint.

If I wanted to replace the fans, what 4 fans would be best to go for, Noise doesn't bother me since i'm a headphone user and have a fan controller as well if I want to ramp anything down.

Have a look here as I was asking that very question and there a few different ones that people use .. I went for the SP120 as they have a changeable colour ring and I thought they looked good lol they do cool quite well also :)

Yeah I gave in and went for the H100, arrives tomorrow, just finished taking everything out of my Haf X (Owners know how much of a chore that is, #Heavy) cleaned everything and back in.

Can't wait to get my 4.5 overclock back, 2.4 SUCKS! :(

Fingers crossed its not a dud on arrival, Steve the Delivery Driver will be there around the time I get home, I'm his 69th customer so privileged.
