Didn't realise you should replace your helmet after five years. Checked mine and it's ten years old.

Better made, more comfortable, better ventilation, will last 5 years whereas a plastic lid will most likely last less.

Dont scrimp on your lids people.

All the things metbandit has said but my main thing is sound proofing. After getting tinnitus through biking I want to prevent anymore hearing damage. This lid and ear plugs will help. I can't afford a Schuberth (best for sound proofing) so this lid will be the next best thing.

Isn't conventional wisdom if the lid is the right fit for you it shouldn't matter too much if it's £50 or £500.

Any extras are just gravy.
