I'm new to this forum and love learning new things about any technology, computers in general. I'm going to university this year to study games programming and I'm in need of a new build so I here would be the best place to start.

the university is giving me a £1500 grant which is non repayable, on top of that I'm also getting about £6k loan and grant a year so at the end of the year after I know how much budgeting I need to do (Like books and transport) I'm going to use the £1500 for a new build.

I'm looking for something that will last me a few good years in terms of games and software.

almost yeah but with a phantom case and 2nd gen i7. I'll link the build spec when im done.
