It's been a few years since I did a full system build. Happy to say my past efforts have stood the test of time though, my parents have an old system I made in 2006 thats still ticking along. Though its CPU did go boom a few years back (it was a decent one too!). Also its Radeon X1900 died suddenly, which was sad.

But yeah on topic, did not opt for proper watercooling since I have no experience with that to be honest. But I wanted something good so I can do some overclocking if I decide to, and the MicroATK form factor is just because -well I don't want a honking great tower full of empty space! I dont use optical drives etc so.

The following look ok? Also (@OcUK) is there any discounts for loyal customers buying entire PC builds from you? ;) :p /cheeky

If I buy this stuff, does OcUK charge you instantly? Because that case is not in till 10th October so that's quite a wait.

Why's that? Tbh I went with Corsair because the case/cooler etc is all Corsair. Seemed appropriate. Is there anything I should be aware of with them?

Superflower are pure quality, with Corsair the OEM varies and in the case of the RM850 it is Chicony Power Technology who are not up there with Superflower or Seasonic.

Good catch Threepwood. I do have RAM I can use out of my current system but probably be nicer to get something faster (and new lol).

Ah hmmm I was going for a bit of a Corsair theme, but I guess it makes sense. I did have a Superflower PSU on my previous build idea (going for a 5820K).
