Tbf it seems like they'll be more medium-term replacements for the X's that are already in channel. The 3600XT looks like a good chip for tweakers though from what I've seen!!! :)

3900XT around 30 overnight, 3800XT nearly 20 and a handful of 3600XT, not bad and I suspect these will no doubt replace the older versions and become the norm.
Good to see the enthusiats are still around Gibbo :)

A £300 CPU, will be interesting to see the console prices when they are announced

It is at the moment, but by the time the consoles arrive, we might be on 4000 series Zen 3 desktop chips.

The consoles are also using lower clocks, and as said, by the time the consoles actually arrive they will more than likely be a generation behind desktop PC's.

I'm guessing anywhere between £400-£600 for the various versions of the PS5/XBSX

A review site says there confirmed not to replace the others but be along side them.

I said no doubt, but having being doing this for some 20 plus years it is fair to say the focus will move to the new chips and no doubt any future promotions will be on new stuff unless AMD are sitting on huge stock piles on older ones then be some even better deals on those potentially but they seem to have a handle on stocks as demand last few months has being incredibly high and still is.
