Tried to add my new '.co.uk' hotmail address to Outlook and it appears that Outlook doesnt support them... got an error reporting that @hotmail.co.uk has been disabled with working with Outlook express

my old '.com' address works fine

any ideas?

i think they've stopped you from doing it as they now charge for the previlege. i connected my hotmail.com to outlook a few years ago, my brother tried his last year and he couldnt get his to work. looks like if you aren't already using it you can't now with out paying.

probably stopped the co.uk from launch.

If you have to go to the site to get the mail, you're exposed to all the ads up the sides. Cha-ching indeed.

Thunderbird has a plugin called Webmail which can read even new Hotmail addresses, that may be of use to you.

Good luck.
