My girlfriend and I are waiting on our first house being released in a new local development. I have been searching these forums for a while now and i wanted you to your views on what additional wiring i should try and get the builders to install for me while they are building the house.

My current equipment:

Projector
Home cinema Amp
Floorstanding speakers
Bi polar rears

Will be getting
Sky+HD (I Hope)
LG LCD HD Ready screen for living room

What i want to do is get the wall tracked for the LCD but what cables will i get them to install? Will there be cables hanging out of the wall or can i have wall outlets?

I will hopefully be getting 2 Network ports minimum per room, maybe 4 in the living room along with some extra power sockets. The house comes with a phone socket and tv point in each room (3 in the living room). I want to get them to run an extra 2 satelite cables into the living room for the sky+, but would it be a good idea to get 2 satelite points in every room just to future proof the house?

I will hopefully be converting the attic into a home cinema so i wont be worrying about that just yet, but what i will want them to do is run a the cat5e cable into the attic, along with all the tv point cable, sky point cable etc. I want this in a corner in the attic so i wont have to move it in the future but still be able to access it if necessary.

I will also be getting a garden shed and i will obviously have the wiring installed for that at an early stage but im going to get them to run 4 cat5 cables into the garden aswell for the shed. I was going to put some NAS out there in the future or maybe a wireless access point.

Anything else you guys think i should get?????

well they said they would do extras and obviously i would have to pay for them?

Also i dont intend on staying in this house very long maximum 4 - 5 years and then move on. i thought this would eb good for future selling points
