Hi moving to a new house in two weeks for a short term lease (5 months)

If I get a internet package with O2 or whoever and its a 12 months contracxt where do I stand? Do I have to pay for the remaining 7 months? Do I give 30 days notice and then the contract is ended early. Just wondered.

Also the postcode is L3 8QG what is the best internet for me. Looking at uncapped tariff. I don't need any TV, internet phone combo package just the net.

Thanks

Theres about 5 topics on this in the last week, did you even try to use the search?

According to your postcode you can't get any decent LLU providers, so its either a BT Wholesale provider such as Zen or an Enta reseller, but as you want an uncapped service you might want to consider Virgin Media.

You will get stung with a early cancellation fee with any contracted service, so I'd check that out before you sign up but you could look at their 20mbit internet service on its own with no extras.

VM would likely be the best bet as with any other option you're likely going to be into a 12 month BT line rental + an installation fee, at least VM is only £50 in that respect I believe.
