Well won't bore you with the itnerior of the place, the more important part I think is the view!!!

Click the thumbnails for full size pics.

Sunset across the Clyde, Just on the beach infront of house.

Same sunset little later except on the back lawn of the house, about 10metres from the front door to the cottage.

Random beach picture next to Dumbarton Castle, I was too much of a cheap git to pay to go into the castle.

Dumbarton is 8miles East of Helensburgh.

Sorry, one more post with images...

Another one showing the Town from the beach.

One more for good measure :)

I live in Helensburgh which is a Navy Town about 1hr West of Glasgow. It is a Navy Port and a lot of Submarines and HMS Destroyers go past the garden and I can watch them through the window :)

Sry, starting to brag here :P, basically, it's a really great place with amazing views!

You'll end up getting arrested for spying on the MOD stuff ;) , I'm expecting to see some stunning storm shots with that view, should keep you busy :)

Ps . Location still says Newhaven ......
Haha, I hope not, speaking of which....

Tug boats bringing in the Souverign back to port. The Souverign is one of the Trident Submarines which is a necluer sub.

At the bottom of the picture is the fence of the garden, to show how close it is :p

As for the storms, have had a good few already the past 2 weeks here, unfrotunately it only gets really rough at night time and would only make for good photos at high tide bashing against the wall (although the wall is designed not to give too much of a splash). After a few of the storms I have looked at the lawn in the morning and crabs and muscles litter the lawn along with the flocks of birds getting an easy snack.

Does Photoshop have a auto-align option? I know elements does.

I don't know about an auto option, but this is how I do it.

1) Draw a thin crop box
untitled1.jpg

2) Rotate it by hovering the mouse near the corner until it the cursor turns into a curvy arrow. Align with object that is meant to be horizontal

3) Drag the crop box out as desired and press OK.

The image is then cropped and rotated.

Well I'll be.... :p

I seriously find it hard to tell a straight horizon unless it's tilted atleast 5degrees or more to one side.

Does Photoshop have a auto-align option? I know elements does.

Yeah, there's an auto align of a form, click on the corner of the eye dropper tool to pop out the sub pallete and pick the measure tool, then draw a line along a section of the horizon (click one end & click the other). Then go to Image.. Rotate Canvas.. Arbitrary and the appropriate angle and direction will have been populated.

There's some nice shots there, a lot of familiar views too - I grew up in Helensburgh and still visit my parents there often.

Or you can drag guides down and across from the rulers at the edge of the screen to check your horizontals and verticals are square then use 'transform' (rotate, perspective, etc) to sort it all out.
