So, received my new Omen 17. Went with the 10750, 2080, 16 gb ram spec and boy oh boy what a machine. Overclockers customer service was fantastic btw so bravo.
Some serious testing yesterday on the kit. Tried Warzone on max settings, Witcher 3 on max, Far Cry 5 on ultra and Wow, settings at 10 preset. Overall about 6 hours of non stop gameplay and 8 hours of idle and downloading/installing prior.
Now to point its out of the box performance, only thing done is update the omen command centre and download 400 gb ish of games. Rig config was balanced with fans on auto.
Temperature through the ordeal peaked at 84 Cpu, 78 Gpu as per afterburner log. Fps above 100 in everything apart from wow where it was around 80.
Screen looks great, build quality is solid as well.
Long story short, couldnt recommend it more!
