Rightho, have a Vive on the way for early next week Intend to use it seated for driving and in the room next door for waving arms around etc ( without smacking the PC )

Question is, what are the must have extras, do i need anything for the face mask, what cable extenders would I need etc etc

Plenty of you guys already setup and got this all sorted so help appreciated, anything silly too, like as I just thought a bracket or "head" to place the Vive in when not in use.

Necessity list welcome !

You lovely bunch, just when I thought I couldn't spend more ( too easy I know ), Thanks for this though, i'll go do a little searching, 10 meter extensions are more than enough, face pads check ! are these bungees for the wires from the ceiling any good, have Jack Russell's so I'm sure they will find amusement in well anything.

Looking at it I can do room scale in the same room as the PC no need to extend ( for now ), I'll just get it setup and working, but will grab some wall mounts, something to place the vive on when not in use and the face pads, have a pair of G903 I think wireless headphones for starters, so the Audio Strap can wait, that way I can waste a shed load more on games :D

And another edit, feel free to recommend any MP games that are a must have, already own the usual suspects for racing and I'll have star trek installed before it gets here lol.

I must be "that guy", it arrived, new as stated ( box had been opened ), having an issue with the seller, or myself, I paid £479 for it, I'm getting the old politicians response when asking for proof of purchase so i can register for the free games it comes with and warranty to cover myself, alas, another Trump reply from seller, Guess its going back and I'll grab the Rift while its on sale, will be about the same price once I pick up the extra base station, I would prefer the Vive, but I have a niggling feeling over warranty.

Appreciated though RoyMi6, I prefer the Vive for some reason, I really don't want to return it, but when somethings this good ( £479 ), has to be a problem elsewhere lol
