Hi

I am looking to build a new HTPC that can support 16TB+ internal HDDs.

I have specced one up as below and would appreciate any advice or alternates that the community may suggest. Budget is £600+, any savings appreciated ;)

(I already have 2 4TB drives the reds are to increase capacity, I also have a couple of Noctura fans laying around I can use)

Please feel free to comment/make suggestions on the build.

Did you pick a MITX case to suit to board or the board to suit the case?

If the case size is the priority, you can get the Prodigy M (same outer Size) and use a cheaper mATX board.

Also agree with stulid on the SSD.

I'd also look at getting an aftermarket cooler for the CPU, the AMD one isn't great. :)

Thanks for the info. I will look for an alternative (annoyed that I have put 2 of these in recent builds)

I like the case, I have read though that the M-ATX is a tight fit. I have already built one PC in a Prodigy with M-ITX and it was a pleasure to build (one of my smoothest and when I am involved that is saying something!)
