Building a htpc for 3d tv and a little bit of gaming on steam (dont need latest greatest games and high res)

how is this?

AMD A10-5800K Black Edition 3.80GHz (Socket FM2)

Silverstone Grandia GD05 Desktop HTPC Case - Black (SST-GD05B USB3.0) like how this case doesnt look like a pc and is quite sleek

Gigabyte F2A75M-D3H AMD A75 Chipset (Socket FM2) DDR3 Micro ATX Motherboard

Seagate Barracuda 7200RPM 1TB SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache - OEM

OCZ Vertex 3 60GB 2.5" SATA 6Gb/s Solid State Hard Drive

Patriot Viper "Black Mamba" Generation 3 8GB (2x4GB)

OCZ CoreXtreme 500w '80 Plus' Power Supply

total £404.92

thinking this is good, anyone got some advice?

Normally hate these sort of cases but that does look nice for some reason.

Spec looks ok but you may want to consider a bigger HDD, 2Tb seems to be the sweet spot for £/Gb at the mo.

I would go for an intel 330 rather than a vertex 3. Though the vertex's are normally good drives, just put off my nightmares my friends have had with agility SSD's.

2TB seems a good size to go for. Todays special was a good offer.
