Hey. Just wondering what peoples opinions are on this. I've got clunky old PC sitting in the a/v cabinet running windows 7 - core 2 duo i think, with a 5.25" bluray drive in it. I have a requirement for multi-region bluray, and using TMT5 and anydvd-hd allows me to do this. Time for an upgrade I think and I was thinking something mini-ITX sized. Maybe something like this:

with this:

Or I could go for a NUC with an external USB bluray drive - plusses for this is the IR receiver in the NUC and that I already have the usb bluray drive. It would look a bit messy though.

or I could just get a cheap streaming box running openelec and buy a bluray drive from all 3 regions, might work out cheaper lol.

I need support for HD audio passthrough as well. Has anyone done anything similar recently?

I like The Element Q, plus it has 1 expansion slot. If you want a card, I want so bad to have a EQ machine I can game on, but no dual slot... :( Yes, they have single slot GPUs, but that narrows your choices & a case that small, a exhausted GPU would be much better. I wonder why they have no dual slot EQ type cases. The only one close is by a EU company, but the site has a store so can't link it, plus they don't ship to the US, only EU...
