Hi all, after some advice on the components I am putting together.
I am going to make a build which will be used for gaming, emulators (dolphin etc), htpc work (xbmc) and media (movies). I want it to last a while but be quite small.
I am thinking of,
i5 3570k
8gb ram (1866mhz)
z77 mini-itx board
discrete cooler (suggestions?)
bitfenix case/ fractal design quiet case (basically needs to be silent)
OR a case which will fit into a TV cabinet (Ikea Hemnes - so 10CM wide - please, any suggestions?)
Intel hd4000 at first, then upgrade to? (Below £100)
psu is already sorted.
256gb ssd
I am putting most of my budget into the processor, and it seems that the 3570k is the choice for dolphin emu.
I want to keep power usage down, is this build OK for that?
