Hi guys, I am making a new pc, mainly for playing back HD on my TV aswell as playing pc games.

Already got -
24 inch LG LED monitor
BDRom\DVDRW
640 WD Sata Harddrive
Keyboard and Mouse

Things I want to buy (Correct if you think something is better)

Intel Core i7 930 2.80GHz (Bloomfield) (Socket LGA1366) £199.74
Asus GeForce GTX 460 1024MB DirectCU GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card £176.24
Asus P6X58D-E Intel X58 (Socket 1366) DDR3 Motherboard £149.99
Kingston HyperX T1 6GB (3x2GB) DDR3 16000C9 2000MHz Triple Channel (KHX2000C9AD3T1K3/6G) £138.64

Subtotal £664.60

Out of those, I'm not sure about the motherboard - will it be okay?
I still need a decent 750-800W PSU, fan/cooling system, a case that will keep all this nicely together and is there anything else I am missing? this is my first build btw.

PS - I want to order this tonight before the i7 core price increases so any quick help would be appreciated
 
Spec looks fine, but I would go for the Patriot on offer for today only, but you need to check which cpu cooler your using.

its good, motherboard is good.

as for psu try the Antec new truepower 650w or Corsair HX650w, both of which will allow a second GTX460 later on if needed.

cases depends on what you like the look of,

Hi - thanks for all your help, I think I have finished my PC - but is there anything else I need to add on here before I buy? I dont wanna pay for shipping twice - Theres only one more i7 core left at £200 so I guess I missed the bus on that one, its only another £10 I guess.

Hi thanks, you linked the MX-3 compound twice accidently...

But I kinda want HDMI 1.4 which sold me on that GFX card, Also it seems like a pretty solid card
