New i7 System Advice Please

I have now finished building my new system as listed below. Firstly thanks you to all those who helped with advice etc during the last week or so, it was certainly very much appreciated and all is working reasonabley well.
However I do have just a couple of questions just to ensure im doing the right things etc.

Firstly: I have a new back-up drive which has not been formatted since delivery from OC. Is there an easy way to do this? The drive isn't being recognised and I assume this is because I have not managed to format it? What is the best way to do this please?

Secondly: I have listed a few of the readings from the BIOS and hope you will be able to cast an eye and tell me if anything needs adjusting or if its all ok?
DRAM Voltage = 1.5V
CPU V Core = 1.235v
PCH SATA Control = IDE
Finally: When in Auto the memory is running at 1333MHz and in Turbo mode its 1600MHz
Should I leave it in turbo mode as the RAM is G.Skill1600MHz DDR3?

Go to control panel, Administrator tools, disk management, then you should see the unallocated space of this HDD, right click and create a new partiton
 
I have no idea if the bios readings are correct, got no experience with the cpu.

the DRAM voltage is correct, and leave the ram on turbo.

For the SSD it should be set to AHCI not IDE, you will have to do a re-install I believe if you change it.
 
Thanks stulid. I did change the bios to AHCI and it didnt see any drives at all. If I install again with my Win7 DVD will I able to keep everything I have done already or is it a case of starting over?
